PM: Russia finds local analogues for 80% of industrial software

SMOLENSK, Apr 20 (PRIME) -- Russia has found national analogues for more than 80% of industrial software, the work on development of products with state subsidies and business support is in progress, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Thursday.

“Some software complexes were, let’s say, nascent, while other software complexes were more developed,” Mishustin said.

“It is all recovering now with the government subsidies and support of our business. As to the machines with digital software control, the results are plenty. There is company Mehatronika and there is a whole range of the companies that deal with the development of our industrial software to control machines.”

The prime minister said it is crucial to complete the work related to software and introduce the software product in industrial exploitation in the next several years.
